We’re thankful to announce that everyone that has subsequently been tested has received a negative test result (there was only one positive case out of the group). We will resume normal business hours and services Monday. Thank you for your support and patience. Have a great week and be safe. Thank you.
Update: Yesterday evening, our two staff members received their COVID-19 test results. One came back negative and one positive.
At present, all staff members who were in close contact with the positive case have had testing and are self-isolating and self-monitoring pending the results of their COVID testing. As an additional precaution, all doctors and remaining staff members at our office are currently receiving COVID testing.
We will be continuing with limited services at our office and can be reached by telephone at (306) 773-2020. We plan to resume our full operation once we have received negative test results.
Due to the rigorous sanitization steps taken at our office, including all staff and patients wearing masks, hand washing, and surface sanitization measures, the risk of exposure to patients is low. However, if you have any concerns, we would encourage you to call 811 or to take the Self-Assessment available at www.saskatchewan.ca/covid-19.
We would like to sincerely thank you for your well-wishes and kind comments in this uncertain time, and will continue to update you as we continue to get more information.
Please be advised two of our staff members developed potential COVID-like symptoms over the weekend. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our office for a couple days pending the results of their COVID-19 testing. During this time we will be thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the office and can be reached by telephone.
We have been in contact with Saskatchewan Health Authority and Public Safety who indicated that due to the safety precautions we have already implemented, closing is not necessary; however, we feel that given the news that is developing in the city and the southwest that it is best to be proactive and take extra precautions anyway.
To all of our patients and anyone that has walked through our doors, thank you for cooperating with our mandatory mask wearing policy, sanitizing procedures, and physical distancing measures. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may create, but trust you can be assured we have your health and well-being in mind.
